At Risk Youth – Protective Factors and Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) – August 9-10

Protective factors are those elements of a young person’s life that protect them against future criminal behavior. Learn how traditional Native American values and teachings can be used in a flexible curriculum to help young people stop engaging in harmful and illegal activities. QPR-Substance abuse has also lead to a substantial increase in suicides among tribal youth. The training will include QPR instruction; 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
