Pre-Arrest Advocacy Call – August 22 at 6:00 PM

Dear SuppoDear Supporter,
Pre-arrest diversion programs, such as civil citations, have proven to be the best tool for addressing common youth misbehavior. To support local advocates as they work to ensure these programs are used to their fullest, we’ve produced a Pre-Arrest Diversion Advocacy Toolkit, which now includes a recording of our June training webinar.

Next week, we will hold a conference call to give space for local advocates to share ideas and experiences.

Rob Mason, Director of the Juvenile Division Office the Public Defender, 4th Judicial Circuit, will present about the advocacy and reforms that turned that circuit around. Advocates will have the opportunity to share updates about local efforts.

We can work together to help end the school-to-prison pipeline in Florida by advocating for the use of pre-arrest diversion programs.

Sincerely,
Michelle Morton
