Nourish Their Bodies, Feed Their Minds, Reduce Youth Crime – The Chronicle for Social Change

An interesting link between juveniles and aggressive behavior has been uncovered, and while it seems like it would be easy to fix, it’s harder than it looks. Studies have found that poor nutritional choices can lead to the externalization of antisocial, aggressive,  and hyperactive behaviors in adolescence. There is a link between healthy nutrition and healthy brain development that is extremely important in the developing child’s brain. Ignoring nutrition has been compared to ignoring an essential element of life.
