The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), the National Juvenile Defender Center, and the State Justice Institute, have partnered together to release two bench cards. The first, Access to Juvenile Justice Irrespective of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression, lays out principles and best practices to ensure that LGBTQ youth are treated with respect.
