FREE Webinar: Positive Youth Outcomes Committee LGBTQI Overview and Call to Action
On June 3 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. (EST) CJCA’s Positive Youth Outcomes Committee will host a webinar – LGBTQI Introductory Overview and Call to Action Shannon Wilber, Esq., Youth Policy Director for the National Center for Lesbian Rights along with Currey Cook of, Lambda Legal and the Director of the Youth In Out Of Home Care Project will provide an introductory overview of the terminologies, concept, disparities, policy challenges and systems of care for LGBTQI youth. The webinar will also focus on the “why now” by laying the ground work for the second webinar which will look at the topic from a practitioners perspective to providing a practical approach to shaping the work.
