FREE Webinar: The Changing Landscape of Age of Criminal Responsibility Policies in the U.S. and the Steps States are Taking To Prepare for and Implement Policy Changes – September 19 at 1 PM
Since 2016, five states have successfully passed legislation to raise the age of criminal responsibility, leaving only four states with an age of criminal responsibility set at younger than 18 years of age. In this webinar, participants will hear from stakeholders in states that have recently raised the age of juvenile court jurisdiction. Whether still exploring their justice policies or working to implement recent policy changes, states and local jurisdictions are taking stock of their current programs, services, and opportunities and working to identify the programs, services, and opportunities that will be needed to serve older youth. In this webinar, participants will also learn how states are preparing to implement the policy changes and raise awareness and utilization of existing resources to support states and local jurisdictions in their efforts.
