California Lawmakers Want to Mandate Internet for Kids in Juvy – CNN

California is looking to expand its bill of rights for youths in juvenile detention centers to include access to the Internet. Some push-back on the legislation includes wanting language in the bill to be changed to ensure that access can be tailored for educational purposes and restrictions can be put in place to block unsafe websites.
